Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?” 1 Samuel 17:26
“My Child, in this season, you must take out, once and for all, the enemies that have hindered you from moving into the new place I have prepared for you. Fighting is not an option. And just as I said to My Children as they entered the Promised Land, I say to you: But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then it shall be that those whom you let remain shall be irritants in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall harass you in the land where you dwell (Numbers 33:55).
You can no longer refuse to face the giants in your life. You can not ignore them, placate them, or act as if they don’t exist! You can no longer refuse to drive them out of your “land.” You have thought you could peaceably co-exist with them. But I tell you today, they will continue to vex and hinder you until you no longer allow them to exist in your land, in your mind, in your emotions, in your soul! You must utterly destroy them.
Fighting is not an option! But fighting for you will not be strenuous or exhausting; for you do not fight in your flesh, and the weapons of your warfare are not carnal. As long as you war in the flesh, as you far too often do, you will become weary and frustrated. Use My strategies of war, and you will frustrate the enemy instead. You’ve already won!! Fight from your place of victory!
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 (NKJV)
My Child, I will help you identify the giants; once you recognize them, then take your stand in My power and strength. Any giant that comes against you is defying Me; for you are Mine! They are already defeated! Take them out with the weapons I’ve given you. Go forth with the high praises of God in your mouth and the two-edged sword in your hand, clad in the armor I have provided for you. Stand before the ‘uncircumcised Philistine’ in your life, slay him, and cut off his head! And know that you will see this enemy no more!
You are a giant slayer!”
